Dennis A. Engstrom, DDS

Dr. Dennis is a graduate of the University of Michigan from both the College of Engineering and the School of Dentistry. He was a practicing civil engineer prior to becoming a dentist. His wife and father-in-law are dentists and they both inspired him to join the profession of dentistry after he witnessed them provide ethical, friendly, and professional family dentistry for all ages. He believes in building relationships in order to provide professional excellence in a positive setting. He has worked in East Lansing, Michigan his entire dental career and he has a passion to provide ethical, friendly, and professional family dentistry for all ages. He now treats several generations within families, from infants to great grandparents. It is incredibly rewarding and a privilege to be entrusted to treat the dental needs of several generations within a family. Our practice provides general dentistry services. He is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Francis B. Vedder Society for Crown and Bridge. He strongly believes in continually learning as a dentist to always remain current in the profession. Dennis lives in Williamston, Michigan with his wife, Christine, and his German shepherd, Piper. In his my spare time he enjoys fishing, playing guitar, skiing, and riding his motorcycle.

Christine F. Engstrom, D.D.S.

I’m Christine Engstrom, D.D.S., and I graduated in 1998 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry continuing the family tradition of dentistry following in my father’s footsteps who celebrated his 50th year in dental practice in 2013. Having witnessed my father provide dentistry for several generations within entire families inspired me to enter the profession. I have worked in East Lansing, Michigan my entire dental career and I have a passion to provide ethical, friendly, and professional family dentistry for all ages. I now treat several generations within families myself, from infants to great grandparents. It is incredibly rewarding and a privilege to be entrusted to treat the dental needs of several generations within a family. My practice provides general dentistry services. Lisa Morr

From patient education, taking radiographs, chair-side assisting, laboratory procedures, sterilization and instrument care to being a patient advocate, our assistants are invaluable. Lisa has been working at our office for 12 years, where she assisted Dr. Lieder exclusively until Dr. Engstrom joined the practice. She now assists both dentists. She is an integral part of our operation. 

Outside of work Lisa loves doing Do-It-Yourself projects around her house, camping with her family, and taking trips to Arizona visiting her parents. Since July of 2017, she has had the title of Nana to her grandson, Zander and has been enjoying all of life’s blessings.

Dawn

I am excited to be starting my third year as a dental assistant with the Engstroms. I am passionate about dentistry and strive to make your visit a comfortable one. It has been fun getting to know each of you over the past few years. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I am a avid dog lover and I have a chihuahua named Gizmo and a dachshund named Remington. I look forward to serving you at your next visit.

Miriam

I graduated from Kellogg Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program in 1999 and have worked with Dr. Christine Engstrom ever since. I was encouraged by my family to get into hygiene and I absolutely love it. When I first started working in hygiene I was so excited to be helping people as I had always wanted play a role in helping others. Helping others with their oral concerns has been very enjoyable for me. I feel being up front and honest with the patients is a major key to a person’s oral health.

NORMA SEELY

Norma joined Dr. Lieder’s staff in 1993 as dental hygienist. She now works in the front office as well as continuing her passion for dental hygiene part time. She received her dental hygiene degree from KCC in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Norma is in the process of moving into a new house to move closer to her granddaughters. Norma truly enjoys working with the team at Engstrom Family Dental providing down home quality of exceptional care to our patients.

RACHEL BRYANT

Rachel graduated from Lansing Community College in 2016 with a degree in Dental Hygiene and Applied Science. She has been a part of our team since October of 2016. Rachel strives to make her patients feel comfortable while being thorough yet gentle during his or her appointment. It is her goal to educate her patients on how they can maintain oral health at home between visits. 

Outside of work, Rachel mostly enjoys spending time with her husband of fifteen years and raising their two young daughters. As a family they like going on hikes, watching movies, eating out, taking trips to Lake Michigan, and serving at their church.

SARA WESLEY

Sara received her Dental Hygiene degree from University of Michigan in 2013. She also worked for U of M for several years after graduation as a dental hygienist and dental research study coordinator. She prides herself in staying up to date with all of the newest dental research to help provide the highest level of care and education for our patients. She recently moved to Okemos with her husband of 14 years and two children. She is very excited to be part of Dr. Engstrom’s and Dr. Lieder’s team and she can't wait to meet all of our patients.

SHERI STONER

Sheri is the first friendly person you meet when you enter our office. She is here to help you with scheduling appointments and help you understand your insurance coverage. She has more than 20 years of experience in the dental field, 10 of them here with Dr. Lieder and Dr. Engstrom and she is more than happy to take your call if you would like to schedule an appointment or if you have any questions.

When not in the office Sheri likes to garden, read, and camp with her husband, children and two German Shepard puppies.
